Hana El Beltagi
Hana El Beltagi is an associate in the Banking & Finance Department. Since joining the firm, she has worked on multiple banking and non-banking financial services transactions and has become very familiar with the Egyptian regulatory framework.
Ms. El Beltagi’s previous experience entails general corporate and commercial matters, as she has assisted in conducting several legal due diligence reviews and drafting key issue reports on target companies in M&A transactions. Her areas of practice include Banking and Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and General Corporate.
Ms. El Beltagi obtained a First Class Honors LLB in Law and Politics from the University of Manchester (UoM) followed by a LLM in International Business Law with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She ranked top of her class in most of her modules and was recognized for academic excellence from both universities. The amalgamation of a Common Law academic background in the United Kingdom and Civil Law work experience in Egypt means that Ms. El Beltagi is able to sufficiently and thoroughly provide legal advice on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
She is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and her working languages are English and Arabic.
