The Firm regularly assists clients in negotiating and drafting concession agreements, off-take agreements, gas supply agreements as well as other agreements with governmental agencies such as the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding company (EChem), the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), and the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO), etc.
Amongst the notable oil & gas entities for which the Firm has handled advisory and/or dispute related work for or against are: Apache, Total, BP, Dragon Oil, EChem, Abu Qir Petroleum, Halliburton, Petroleum Marine Services, Egyptian Fertilizers Company, Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, MOPCO, Soprema, TAQA Arabia, Arab Petroleum Pipelines (SUMED) , Shelf Drilling, and Asec.
Recently, our Firm has advised on the new Egyptian concession agreements and bid rounds, petrochemicals contracts, and prosecuted, as counsel, arbitration cases pertaining to oil and gas discovery, gas pricing, and services agreements with a clean track record of success both for investors and State entities.
